Works Completed in 2002
The images above were painted during my exploratory trip [for three months] in the fall of 2002. All of these images are of watercolors 4" X 6", they are matted, and framed.
About These Works:
The upper images are watercolors were completed during my trip, while traveling. The image to the left was completed upon my return. It was based on sketches made.
I had visited Arthurian Sites, that I had read about in my research. At the end of my trip, I discovered a book that debunked the usual history of King Arthur and altered my view of the time of Arthur forever. The book is "The Keys to Avalon [The True Location of Arthur's Kingdom Revealed]" by Steve Blake and Scott Lloyd. Their theory was that Wales was the actual setting. This was confirm by local stories that had been handed down for centuries.
